Once the equipment, custom stainless steel fixtures, joinery fixtures and any other special features are identified in the schematic / preliminary layout, we develop line item cost estimates for the owner's review. Estimates are based on actual market conditions and are broken down by line item to include all related and associated costs with purchasing and installing the specified items. These figures include the item itself and the associated soft costs such as warehousing and consolidation fees, freight and transportation fees, setting-in-place and installation fees, etc. The purpose of these budgets and estimates is to reconcile the preliminary / schematic design to a realistic construction budget for owner approval before the design development phase begins.
